Our view
The A1 Slope punches above its price on two counts — the rechargeable battery at £279 is genuinely unusual and the compact form factor is the most distinctive in the Bushnell range. The honest limitation is the 350-yard flag accuracy guarantee, which is adequate for most UK club golfers but falls short of the Tour V6 Shift on a long par 5. If you play courses with long approach shots regularly, the Tour V6 Shift at £349 is the more complete choice. If compact size and rechargeable convenience matter more than maximum range accuracy, the A1 Slope is a genuinely smart buy at £279.
