Precision Pro NX10

External slope switch for instant tournament compliance — premium ABS build with magnetic grip

Adaptive slope technology adjusts for both elevation and gradient — more sophisticated than basic slope calculation. MagView magnetic mounting system holds the rangefinder to any metal surface on the cart. Fast target lock, reliable vibration feedback. At £249 it sits well below the Bushnell and Shot Scope alternatives while delivering the core slope functionality most UK club golfers actually need.

Key features

  • External slope switch — physical toggle shows green when slope is active
  • Immediately visible tournament compliance — no guessing whether slope is on or off
  • Premium ABS plastic construction with advanced ergonomics
  • Lightning-fast target acquisition with pulse vibration feedback
  • Magnetic grip for cart attachment
  • Clean uncluttered display — distance only, no visual noise
  • 6x magnification with 24mm objective lens
  • Good Good Limited Edition available at £199

Our view

The NX10 makes one genuinely smart design decision — the external slope switch with green indicator is the most tournament-legal-friendly implementation in the rangefinder market. You can see at a glance whether slope is on before you even raise the device. That single feature justifies the NX10 for competition-focused golfers. Everything else though is hard to justify at £249. The Shot Scope Pro ZR at £299 offers a DuraShield hardshell, 1,500 yard range, dual optics and free GPS for £50 more. The NX9 offers the same core performance for £50 less. Buy the NX10 specifically for the external slope switch — if tournament compliance clarity is not a priority, look elsewhere at this price.

Pros

  • External slope switch is the clearest tournament compliance mechanism in its price class
  • Premium build quality — noticeably more substantial feel than plastic competitors
  • Fast target acquisition praised consistently across reviews
  • Magnetic grip is more secure than separate magnetic mounts
  • Good Good Limited Edition offers the same performance at £199

Cons

  • Flag range of only 300 yards — same limitation as the NX9 and shorter than most competitors at this price
  • Heavier than the NX9 at 12oz / 340g — the heaviest rangefinder in its price class
  • At £249 it is significantly more expensive than the Shot Scope Pro ZR at £299 which offers far more features
  • Same core specs as the NX9 at £199 — the £50 premium buys the external switch and bigger body only
  • No GPS, no app connectivity, no dual optics

Golfers who play regular competition and want the clearest possible visual confirmation that slope is disabled before teeing off. The external green/grey switch eliminates any ambiguity about tournament compliance in a way that button-hold methods do not. Particularly suits club golfers who play in monthly medals and want to avoid any accidental slope usage.
