Our view
The Pro X is a niche product that earns its place on one specific strength — customisation. As a performance rangefinder it is outclassed by the Pro L5 at the same price, which adds OLED, x7 magnification and 1,300 yards for the same money. But no other rangefinder on the UK market offers country editions or custom event printing, and for a golf gift or society event that distinction matters. If you are buying for performance, buy the Pro L5. If you are buying as a gift or want the England edition for your bag, the Pro X makes perfect sense.
